Julie Duffy, LMHC, LMT
Founder, Executive Director
Julie Duffy, LMT, LMHC, Exp Tx, (she/her) is a multifaceted individual driven by her passion for creativity, art, healing, animals, flowers, and cycles of nature, Duffy has a longstanding dedication to serving others. With a Master's degree in Expressive Art Therapy and experience as an Outreach Director for RAW ART WORKS, a nonprofit organization specializing in studio-based art therapy, Duffy expanded her expertise through intensive yogic studies in India and obtaining a massage therapy license. She has shared her knowledge by owning and operating a wellness center and teaching courses in Ethics, Anatomy and Physiology, Psychology of Women, Holistic Psychology, and Yoga for Mental Health at respected institutions such as The Massage School of Boston, Emmanuel College, and Lesley University.
Her vision for White Owl Wellness reflects her commitment to providing accessible nature and arts-based programs that foster healing and personal growth through cultural exchange and immersive transpersonal experiences.

Yanna Orcel, MRes, MHC
VP of Outreach & Arts Programming
Yanna Orcel (she/her) studied multicultural art therapy through the Masters of Research in Fine Arts & Humanities program at Royal College of Art, the world's leading post-graduate arts and design school. She holds experience running art therapy groups in psychiatric and residential settings as a Mental Health Counselor (MHC). Orcel has been recognized for her contributions to the field of art therapy from the American Art Therapy Association (AATA) for her short film, "A.P." (2023). Additionally, Orcel presented her research project "Creative Care" at the 54th Annual AATA Conference. The main concepts Orcel focuses on in the wellness-centered arts engagements she leads includes: mindfulness, creative freedom, representation, self-awareness, community and confidence building.

Yanna is running the Virtual Arts & Wellness Group for children ages 11 to 14. Her work is grounded in fostering 'safe spaces' for adolescents and adults to build community through group wellness-centered arts engagements.

Greg Williams

Greg brings over 30 years of experience as a designer, installer, and fabricator to the team. Greg’s artistry and multimodal skills underpin the day-to-day problem-solving on the farm and the artistic vision of our public art program.

Freya Prince
Head of Animal Care and Land Management

Freya brings foundational love and care to the animal therapists on the farm. Careful attention to the animals' needs and the seasonal management of the land are essential contributions to wellbeing on the farm.

Tania Kurkaa, Head Flower Gardener and Contributing Artist

Tania brings her creative gifts as a jewelry designer and gardener to the table. As a former owner of The Pear Tree, a bead and textile shop showcasing arts from around the globe, Tania combined her love of the arts with her passion for international travel. Tania is a crucial teammate making sure the flower garden flourishes.
